This is Midnight all that Glitters, her barn name is Crystal aka Cryssy. She is my new dappled palomino mare, she's 3 and has a great temperament. She is approximately 13.1 hands, a full-bred Sec. B Welsh Pony. I am getting her in about a month, She is currently in Idaho in the snow. She is not broke yet, but her attitude should make it a breeze. At the age of 6 months she was taken away from her mom and put in the trailer, and then shown. She will be my show and trail pony, and seeing as I am only 5.2", I will not look stupid riding her.(We have 6.4" guys riding pony's smaller than her, but don't worry Welsh ponies are strong and it would take a lot more than a 6.4" man to bring one down.)
Next we have Cardod Sweetest Moment, his barn name is Jasper. He is my old horse, now my mothers. As you can see he is a buckskin and is 14.2 hands. He is 5 and is half Sec. D Welsh Cob, 1 8th Arabian, and the rest Sec. A Welsh Pony. He has quite an attitude, and is built like a tank. Because he is part Sec. D, he will not mature until about 7. He has the floating trot of the Sec. D and does excellent in the Welsh Circuit. I showed him this year, and we will be receiving many National titles, I am so happy that we did so good his first year showing. Jasper and I get along OK, but not the best so now he is technically my mothers.
And now we get to HPR Frosted Tacoty, his barn name was T.C. and I say was because he is now in horsie heaven. T.C. was my moms horse that she absolutely loved. He was a dun tobiano-overo Paint gelding, that had grayed out. It was this summer that he got his hind legs wrapped up in a barbed-wire fence. He has severed 2 out of the 3 tendons in one of his legs, the other leg just needed the scratches to heal. We fought for 5 months before he kicked the wall in his stall and ruptured his last tendon. He was put down on December 30, 2010. He was 8 years old.
Other horses...
Playmates Enchanted Image, Image. Sec. A Welsh Pony. My first pony... the little foal is her last baby, Legacy, he roaned out and is now having a great life as a kids pony. We sold Image in 2009, to a great family with two kids that will love her till the day she dies, she is currently 18.
N.P.F. Sweet Charity, Charity. 3/4 Sec. A Welsh Pony, and 1/4 Arabian. I rode Charity for five years, she is Image's half sister, and Jasper's Mother. We never actually owned her, but she is still a part of our family. You can see the Arabian in her spirit and enthusiasm. Even at 20 years old she prances on the trails wanting to run. She has done it all Driving, Western, English, Jumping, you name it! In 2008 Charity and I swept up a ton of national tittles and now she is being ridden by a five year old.
This is what we won in 2008.
