Meh Poems
Out the gate the thoroughbred runs Pounding hard with powerful lungs Around the turn each wants the lead Onward they run bursting with speed Down the homestretch seconds as hours Til champion wins and wears the flow'rs In champion's ring jockey stands proud While in the stands the crouds cheer loud.
Pounding hooves sound out loud As wild horses pierce fog's shroud western hearts beating proud
Silver sparkle high Sev'ral silver doves do fly Shining in the sky
Glistning in the sea Playful dolphins splash and squee Swimming wild and free

Leaping through the meadows and fields
Past rivers and trees the long grass yeilds
To the fleet feet of the swift deer
As bucks and does run far and near
