Throughout the lengthy trek, Olympia had deteriorated even further from her already famished state. Sweat stained her poor excuse of a coat, mud matting her already mud-matted mane and tail. Her forelock hung in a long lump on the side of her head, smacking harshly every time she shook off the bugs. Her body was still so emaciated that the bones were prominent everywhere; ankles, neck, hips, barrel. The fae was thankful that they rest of the trip had been a quiet one; she needed both nostrils and muzzle to inhale oxygen as much as possible as she wheezed through each mandatory breath. The only things that kept her awake was the sound of rhythmic hoofbeats ahead of her and her own thoughts. Under normal circumstances, she would have taken flight from the Dark long ago, but they were both in poor, lonely conditions and she needed a companion if she were to live. Now, she didn't really desire to live, but she realized the Lights needed her somewhat, so she would try to make it through. Lights were peacemakers, especially this mare. The companionship of a Light and Dark, especially because they are leaders, would most likely cause an uprising of rebellions, or at least cause some sort of waves inbetween the two kinds.
Each step was concentrated on, keeping her mind busy, until she looked up, realizing the dark bay stag ahead of her had slowed, then stopped. She walked until alongside of him. So...are we...here? Her light umber orbs looked to him, speech punctuated with shallow breaths.
