Gold wandered around, Her heart was filled with turmoil.
Where could he be?
She stalked down to the beach, her mind numbed with overflowing thoughts.
Where did he go?
Snorting, plodding through the cave.
Why did he leave me?
Walking all over the place, burning with energy, thoroughly distraught.
What did i do?
Treasure snorted, watching her very disturbed mother. She snorted again, wishing Vivian would return from wherever he had vanished. He hadn't even waited for the birth of his children, who did not know their sire. Like she knew not hers, but knowing her dam, she was sure she didn't want to know.
Dubloon came racing, playing by himself, and accidently charged straight into Treasure. She screeched, bucking at him a little. Ye gads! Watch where you're going, Bloon! Dubloon backed away, tears in his eyes, cowed by Treasure's temper. I'm sorry, Treasure, it was an accident! He whinnied, then spun away, towards his mother, who in her sorrow, was ignoring everything else.
Treasure snorted, then settled herself comfortably again.
Everyone was in a foul mood these days.

Empress was pacing, completely lost in her thoughts. Her colt stood and stared at her. The mare was ancy, anxious, worried. Her leader hadn't returned, hadn't sent word their way telling them he was coming back. She assumed he had gone to the battle along with Jasper and Silverpelt, but they had returned. Vivian had not. Empress was worried about Vivian for the herd as a whole and for Gold. She would be worried sick, plus she had two foals who did not know their sire. Frustrated, Empress trotted up toward the cave, sure Gold would be there. She was. Empress gave a stiff nod in greeting. Never would she have greeted Gold so curtly before, but Empress was a bit stressed. There where five foals in the herd, more than there where herd members, at least for the moment. They needed someone to look out for them all. Gold was a wonderful queen, but it would be tricky for her to defend and protect alone. Empress tried to quit her fretting, but this was an issue. She shook her head, but the worry wouldn't leave.
Adagio stared at his mother, not usually this quiet. What's the matter? The colt got no answer. He gave up asking and just followed his mother to a shallow cave. Adagio looked around, only expecting them to be there. Wrong. To his great delight, there where three other foals. Adagio looked to his mother for approval to play, but got no response. He decided it best not to bother her and trotted over to the others. Two fillies and a colt. Hello. He said, politely. He looked at the three. On was most definitely older the other two looked about the same age as him. He looked at them curiously, wanting to play.

Dubloon looked up from trudging after his dam. Excitement filled him, tears forgotten. He charged the other colt. Hi! I'm Dubloon! That's my sister Liva and my half sister Treasure. (btw, Liva is henley's -_- ) Who are you?
Treasure looked at the other mare and foal. Finally, someone for that colt to run around with, keep him out of my tail! She nodded a greeting towards Empress, and watched her mother continue walking stiffly out, blind and deaf (not literally.) in her grief, self doubt, and worry. Treasure faced Empress. We got to do something. Mom can't stay like this, she might lose her milk. What are we going to do?

Empress turned ans smiled weakly at Treasure. She had grown quite a bit. Hello, Treasure. The bay mare sighed, Treasure was right, Gold would run out of milk if she kept on like this. The two younger ones would suffer. I don't know what exactly to do. Vivian needs to come back. Gold is devastated. Empress said, stating the obvious. The fae shook her head. Maybe if I talked to her... The mare trailed off, watching Gold as she dragged herself down toward the beach. Empress heaved a sad sigh, and moved after Gold, she caught up to her quickly. Gold?
Adagio watched the flouncy colt. Dabloon, was his name. I'm Adagio. Is that your twin? The two certainly looked a lot alike. But of course most siblings did. Adagio turned and watched his mother plod out of the cave. He frowned. She was also upset, graceful movements no more. She turned back to the three left.

Vivian was prancing around whinnying shrilly for Gold to come back. He couldn't believe she was gone. He had gone to try to find Cryssy, but he hadn't returned. Many of his mares had been stolen and he had gone looking for them. Please let them be okay. Vivian begged. He knew he had missed the birth of his children and it dragged at his heart all the time. He could still see Treasure's playful face sketched into his mind. How I miss them all. Vivian thought painfully. He had been long disappeared, and he was yearning to return. "I hope they haven't left yet." Vivian thought. Knowing Gold she wouldn't dare disappear but Empress could've.
The bay brute galloped on until he reached the cave where he usually stayed. What awaited him was as good as anything. "Gold, Empress! Finally I've returned. I have been lost fighting but I am still alive!" Vivian whinnied. He could see three new foals, two colts and a filly. He looked at Treasure. "My Treasure you have grown quite a deal. And I am guessing these two are ours?" Vivian asked Gold thrusting his head in her direction. He looked at Empress. "My and I see that you've had your colt, congratulations. Gold, you don't know how I missed you! I was so worried you would've moved on and forget me." Vivian said doing a full circle and trotting up to Gold pressing his muzzle against hers. It felt soft, and warm, how he had ached to feel her touch again.
Liva looked at her two rough housing siblings. She rolled her eyes and sighed. The soft spoken filly was more focused on comforting her mother. She pressed a muzzle against her mother's flank looking at her with worry in her eyes. She then saw a bay stallion come flying in. She immediately stood stiff wondering who he was. The champagne foal looked at him with a cocked head. He seemed relieved, happy. When he came up and touched her mother she felt more relaxed. She could predict her mother's happiness about to explode. "Mama is this Vivian?" Liva asked shyly. He seemed confident and worried. "Is he Mama?" Liva asked to confirm.
