Thayer snorted and reared the ugly head of bloodlust. The need to hunt exploded while revenge slowly built up momentum in the bottom of his mind, fueling his hatred. Thayer hit the ground running. Stride after stride got longer and more powerful. The midnight stag spun around, kicking daggers at Avalon's head.

Avalon saw the kick coming, but a bit to late. He whirled and leaped to the side, but Thayer's kick still clipped above the eyes. Avalon charged the short distance between them, at the last second he reared feircely, his intent to slam his hoove down onto the brutes back. He felt a connection, and successful smirk spread across his maw. He knew better than to get cocky, but the Dark probably could have been more prepared. He reared again, waiting in anticipation for the stag's next attack.

Thayer felt that! Scapes streaked his side, blood warming him. He saw Avalon go up again, so Thayer kicked to the side, feeling harsh impact from his daggers to the underside of the brute's stomach. Thayer had moved himself to the side as Avalon came down in shock. They were next to each other for a millisecond, the spirit of hate coursed through them. Thayer kicked out with his back hooves again, using brute force, and felt connection on Avalon's shoulder and neck. Thayer screamed as revenge and bloodlust fought in his brain.

The brutes kick caught Avalon hard in the stomach. Almost immediately afterward, the stallion delivered a kick to his shoulder, fortunately it only scraped down. No blood was shed. That would leave a bruse though. As the stag stepped to his side, Avalon whirled at a surprising speed. Planting his front hooves, Avalon kicked up toward the brute's face. He felt a dark pelt beneath his hooves. Then, again he spun and lunged at the stallion, teeth bared. He grabbed the skin of the stag's neck between his teeth. He pulled away in a quick jerking motion, taking a chunk of the stallion's neck with him. Avalon stood stock still, every sense tracking the stallion as he moved, waiting for another move.

Thayer felt the scratch on his maw and the missing piece of neck bleed. The black brute flew forward, daggers outreached and make sharp contact with his enemy's neck. In a swift motion, Thayer reached towards his prey's jugular area. Sharp fangs dug into Avalon's neck, though unfortunately, not on his jugular, close though. Thayer reared up, holding deep into the brute's neck, pulling up until the peice ripped, blood spewing onto Thayer. The stag loved the feeling of the liquid warmth. Thayer spun and kicked straight out to Avalon's chest, and ran forward, far away, to wait and watch the other stag's reaction.

Avalon felt the blood flow down his neck. With a scream of rage, he threw himself into a gallop, too fast for the brute to dodge. He charged forward at an incredible speed, covering ground faster than he ever had before. As the last second, he turned sideways and slammed his boyce hard against the stags. He felt the other stallion stumble beneath his weight. Avalon corrected himself faster than before, rage feeding his actions. Placing his front hooves firmly on the dirt, Avalon delivered a well aimed kick toward the still stunned stag. He wirled and moved away, making sure the stallion didn't have time to attack him unprepared. He stood facing the stallion anticipating the next attack.

Thayer rolled away from the attack, and saw that the stallion was waiting for him. Hah. He was glad for the time to get up. Thayer plunged forward, at speeds greater than any racehorse had ever set. As Avalon ran to him, Thayer ran past him, and spun around. As the other brute slowed to turn, Thayer grabbed a hold of the back of his hock, from the side so he couldn't be kicked. Thayer pulled on the mass if bone, veins, and ligaments, feeling the sinewy material rip. Ripped ligaments; try running now, brute! Thayer thought to himself as he jumped away from Avalon. The stag turned toward Thayer, coming to attack, so Thayer jumped and deeply latched his fangs back into the spot on his neck he left before. The black brute pulled, ripping more, deeper, tissue from the spot. Thayer lunged away, kicking back at his prey, as he galloped.

Avalon used the injury the brute inflicted as a trick the stallion never saw coming. Avalon limped slowly toward him then struck out with a lighting quick hooves. Immediately afterward, Avalon clamped his teeth firmly down on the stallion's neck, very near to his cheek. Again he struck out with his fore legs, pounding over and over again. Whirling he kicked the stag hard in the ribs, with his good leg. Fortunately, the ligaments would heal practically back to normal, it had been painful, but he wasn't about to give up. Avalon side stepped hoping to trick the stallion yet again. With that he lunged, and yanked another chunk of flesh out of the stallion, this time out of the shoulder. He stopped again, on high alert for any thing the stag might try to pull off.

Thayer screamed out at Avalon. Black orbs met chocolate ones from a far distance. Thayer could see the rage in Avalon and he knew Avalon could see the bloodlust in his. Thayer and Avalon both stood still, sizing each other up. Bloodlust consisted of different things; rage, hatred, revenge, and the need for blood. Thayer inched forward, step by step, slow to shorten the distance between them. When they were close, The stallion charged the small distance in one stride and caught the edge of Avalon's nostril, ripping through it easily, leaving a big gap on his nose. Immediately, Thayer spun and kicked Avalon in the ribs, hard. He swiftly bent to his side, ripping more of the brute's hock. Thayer spun, and kicked hard at it, causing Avalon to fall. Thayer stomped on the same hock with both front daggers, likely breaking it. The stag reached down, and ripped at his hindquarters. He jumped back and ran from the fallen Light. He spun and waited, far away, for him to get up.

Avalon rolled swiftly out of the way, avoiding the step that likely would have injured him beyond his ability to fight. He stood swiftly, and walked toward the stallion, stopping before him, his head lowered as if in defeat. Then with the swiftness of a striking snake, Avalon's head shot out and tore another hunk for the stags neck. He could see the blood flow down his neck. Avalon did not stop there. He barely gave the brute enough time to react as he planted his fore hooves against the stallion's side and shoved. The Dark brute fell with a heavy thunk to the ground. Avalon stood above him and then brought his hooves down on the shoulder with a sickening crunch. Avalon's body throbbed with pain. He stopped and looked at the stallion. He had done quite a number on him.
OOC: Do you want to just end it wihtout a winner? That way it really can't effect their herd or what not.

Thayer's black eyes bore holes into Avalon as he struggled to get up. Thayer turned and lunged at his neck, mouth showing off sharp fangs. He latched on and struck at the stag with his remaining energy. The stallion ripped the chunck of neck as they both reared up. Legs latched, they could only use fangs. Thayer struck out and grabbed Avalon's airways. His fangs ripped hole in his air canals on his nose as they struggled. The brute held tight, keeping the prey from breathing. The holes from his teeth got too big, he couldn't hold anymore, so he let go of Avalon's nose. The stallion plunged his teeth into the bottom of his enemy's maw, making him unable to bite back. Thayer scraped his teeth all around, ripping up his thin skin, getting close to bone. The stag let go of the maw, and went for his eye. Avalon had pushed back a little, causing Thayer just to scrape the inner corner, drawing some blood. Thayer pushed with all the strength in his harmed legs, and they fell apart. The midnight brute shouldered Avalon, causing him to fall. The stallion crashed down on his hock, hearing a whole list of sickening noises. He kicked him in the ribs, stunning him as he escaped the dangerous area around him. Thayer turned around when he was about a quarter of a mile away, on the other side of the field, waiting. ooc: ok done?

Ok, so I did not count Ralphs last post with Thayer because that would but you guys out of balance.
Ralph = 200 Points HiddenAway = 194 Points
Ralph, those first few post could have had a little bit more length to them, but the ending ones made up for it.
HiddenAway, you use 'He' a little to much try replacing that with something else or starting your sentences differently.
