Do you dare take a trip down bad memory lane? Do you dare try to cut the wild stallion's mane? Do you dare disturb the sleeping bears? Do you dare play a game with the darkest of mares?
A white boyce A sweet voice to lure you to your doom
The dim light of the dark lands were not far off, but the mare stayed where she was at. The winds, she knew, would blow her sent to the stallions below. And what a surprise they will get if they dare pursue me! the fae gave a slight chuckle, she looked forward to meeting the darks here, maby even eventually join a herd. Though she doubted that she would have the patience to be in a herd for very long.

Thayer, while patrolling his borders, came across a white spot far in the distance. A white boyce in the darkest of lands? Either he needed to block his mares, or he was getting a new one. Tall, dark trees sashayed in the breeze. Along with it came the scent of a dark mare. The stag lifted his head and opened his nostrils, letting the scent flow into him. He picked up a trot, swinging his head. Thayer stopped quite a distance away, sensing a dangerousness to the mare. Hello fae... Thayer trailed off feeling a sense of hostility cascading from the Dark mare.

She could hear a brute not far off, he was smart enough to stop some distance away. Smiling, the white fae turned toward him. Looking into her eyes, some would see amusement or laughter, but those that could look deeper could see a scheming mind waiting to strike. Some had called her insane, but the mare was of sound mind, a little to sound.
She softened her eyes and fluttered her eye lashes, that combined with her good looks usually made a stallion relax a little. She made sure her voice was nice and sweet sounding "Hello there brute, what's a stallion like you doing wandering around? You probably have a big herd down there." the fae nodded down toward the dark lands, keeping her 'sweet' charade up.

The midnight deep stag felt it. There was something 'off' about this fae. Thayer couldn't figure out exactly what. He stared at her, through chocolate orbs, standing. He was a good reader. When the stallion wasn't hunting, he had an odd way of him. He saw the cover emotion of another peer, sensing the deep, real emotion hidden behind. Thayer just couldn't figure out what was wrong. He saw the amusement and sweetness of the fae, but there was something. There was always something behind a mare's mask. Thayer was frustrated with himself. Yes, sweet one, my lands are a mere mile north of here. It's made up of mostly forest but we do have a small, private coastline. I have three mares. Ariali is the lead mare. Crimson Lilly and Anya are my herd mares. The Lights are on alert of us because I steal their mares all the time. Thayer chuckled. His introduction was not entirely clear. It was normally void of emotion to exterminate any side thoughts he had. The black brute could not keep the confusion, the frustration, out of his words. They weren't very prominent, but they were there, and the fae probably detected it.

Smile still on her maw, the fae inwardly chuckled, This stallion is actually smart. She could see his frustration, the mare was an un-readable book, closed off to any who tried to read. Quara kept he facade up "So what is your name?"

Thayer blinked his squinted black orbs, realizing he had been growing. The stag instantly softened his expression. He instinctually sized her up. I'm Thayer. Lead stallion of the Solstice herd. What my I call you? Thayer looked at her warily, getting horridly frustrated with himself. he could read everyone. The stag nervously paced in place, wanting to know her, so maybe she would lighten her cover.

The fae was having a great time making the stallion more and more frustrated. "Well Thayer, I am called many different names, though the one I prefer is Quara." Getting bord with her little game, she kept the facade up but with slightly less enthusiasm.

Like a lion to it's prey, he jumped on the opportunity. He was a strong reader, clever. She had her facade lower, low enough for the stag to see right through it. She was a messed up horse, enjoyment showing. Tagged backed up a step, distancing himself, but not completely freaking out. She would be nice to help with the attack. No one would mess with her. I have a proposition for you. Smile on his maw as he imagined the torturous screams from Lights as his herd attacked. How would you like to join us? I have a feeling we could get a win in battle with you. He smirked crookedly at the fae.

The stallion was smart Quarra would give him that, he had finally seen through her facade. Thayer had backed up, seeing the danger in the fae. She threw what was left of the facade and gave a true smile, no one had ever seen threw her before, the stag would get her respect. "Alright, I'll join you."

With alertness and caution stuck to the back wall of his brain, he was happy. The stag smiled, happy he had made up for the missing spot in his herd Anya had left. Good. We shall get far with you. The stag turned to head northwest, to his land. Jumping into a lofty trot, they set out. The two would be there within the day. Thayer planned on heading straight over to Barin's land. They needed to unite for the time. A herd of three faes and a stallion could not overrun that many Lights. He needed to wait, though. If any of the mares were hurt or killed, the foals would be in peril. He refocused on the journey, looking behind to see is Quara was following behind, she was. He turned his attention back in front of him.
