Faith stood in the clearing at the base of the high peaks. She was utterly alone. She hadn't seen Silverpelt or any of her fellow mares in several days. She sighed, waiting for any sign of her leader. The bright sun sparkled off her jet black boyce as she grazed. She lifted her head every few minutes, harks swiveling. Still nothing. Faith was growing increasingly lonely with each passing day. She stared around her beautiful home, and caught a faint sent floating through the air. Trotting over to a nearby tree Faith, to her excitemnt, came across some wild carrots growing at the roots. She pulled one up from the damp earth and crunched through it happily. Finishing her treat, she splashed through the river running through the meadow, startling fish and frogs alike. She climbed a small, steep rise and settled at the top. She dozed in an out of a light nap, feeling the warm sun on her back, ever patient.

Aleta wandered around, board. She had not seen hide nor hair of anyone, though she had wandered. Spotting a mare in the distance, she picked up a trot and quietly made her way to Faith. The dark colored mare settled down a few feet away and fell asleep.

Faith picked up her head at the sound of rhythmic hoof beats. Looking in that direction she spotted Aleta. Relieved to finally have some company, Faith relaxed a good deal, surprised at how stiff she'd been. Swishing her long tail against some pesky flies, Faith snagged a lone wild carrot growing by a large tree. Faith sighed and settled down, glancing at the other mare who was already asleep.

When Aleta woke, the sun was slowly rising over the horizon. She silently got up and started grazing not far from Faith. The dark gold mare was content, but missed seeing Silverpelt.

Faith awoke to a bright sun, shining staight into her eyes. She shook the fogginess of sleep from her head. She picked herself up and ambled over towards Aleta. Stopping a few feet from her, Faith grazed side by side with the lead mare and finally spoke. Have you seen Silverpelt lately? She said this a bit hesitantly, fearing this could be a sensitive topic to the mare. The fae flicked her ears searching for any sign of him instictually. She had heard of other herds' members dissapearances, and of their returns. So far, no sign of their leader, and Faith wondered where he would have gone.

The gold fae turned toward Faith "No, though I wish he was here" Aleta glared up at the happy bright sky, where was he? She knew that Jasper had disappeared as well, but news of his return had just been sent out. Where could Silverpelt be?
(OOC: Come on Breyer! Sil needs to show his mares that he is still alive!)

Faith gave a short, frustrated sigh. Well I'm sure he'll be back soon. She tried to sound cheerful. I hope. She thought silently to herself. Most of the missing, Lights anyway, have returned where is he!? The black fae stamped her hoof in anticipation and frustration. Coal black coat glowed in the morning sun. Faith huffed another sigh, and went back to grazing.

Aleta nodded "I'm sure your right." She gazed around her searching for a gray coat, but green was all she could see. She hoped the other mares would return soon as well.

Faith grunted quietly, a rather unhappy sound. The fae missed her leaders company. At least she now had Aleta, she had left for a while as well, though not as long. Faith looked up into the mountain range, remembering theignorant Dark stag that had assumed he had her trapped. She shook herbhead at the memory. Most horse where clever and Silverpelt was one of the wittiest she knew. Surely he would be back soon, just delayed a bit.

A large chestnut mare grazed in the open meadow, she had not seen the silver stallion in ages, and had never met the other mares. Standing at 17.1 hh, she was hard to miss.

Faith's sleek black head shot up, catching a new scent. She turned and spotted a huge chestnut mare. Must be new. She thought, More company! the black mare looked at Aleta and spoke very softly to her. I think we have a new member. With that Faith trotted right over to greet her. She halted beside the mare. Hello there, I'm Faith. She looked at the big fae curiously. You must be new to the herd, yes? Faith was much smaller, but who cares? That's Aleta, she's the lead mare. May I ask your name? Faith tossed her head, shooeing her forelock out of her deep brown eyes.

Aleta had known that Sil had brought a new mare into the herd, but had never met her. She walked up with Faith, glad to have more company.

Sil was EXHAUSTED! Stumbling around, with one thought, get home! That fierce north battle had hurt, and he was covered so with blood, it was hard to tell what was his and what wasn't. But they had WON!
He was growing close to the valleys below the pass into the mountains. Every limping step drew him closer to his loves, his home, his heartmate. Finally, the last hill, trudged over, slowly, painfully, and there was the opening to the pass. Sil stood, looking towards the fathering of mares, bugled weakly, and fell, unconsious, tumbling down part of the hill.

Faith's sleek head shot up at alarming speed. Ears pricked, she stared toward where a faint bugle had came from. Utterly comfused, the mare trotted swiftly over. She spotted a horse laying motionless on the grass. Aleta! She called. She walked over to the horse, sniffing. Gray coat... S-Silverpelt? Faith stuttered, shocked. ALETA! Faith exploded, patience gone. Could use some help here. She muttered, staring at her leader. Where ever you went, you had better tell us next time. The mare scolded the stallion, shaking her head. She turned and trotted a few feet away, looking for Aleta.

Aleta saw the mass fall from the hill and galloped over to faith and the fallen horse, getting slightly annoyed with faith and her impatience. The fae saw the grey coat and gasped, she could already guess where he had been. "That darn war!" Sil was out cold "Faith, get on his right and when I say go I need you to help me get him up and towards the stream."
(OOC: YAAAAY! Breyer posted! And I threw the impatience thing in there for ya hiddenaway!)

Vernya cantered over to where the other two mares had gone off to. She spotted them with a limp horse, and trotted over to see if she could do something to help.

Faith shook her head. Never was she a patient mare, and never would she be. Alright then, what are you going to try and do? Faith had a pretty good guess at what Aleta wanted to do, but she felt like asking anyway. Might as well keep the conversation going.

"We need to get him to the stream and get his wounds cleaned, then hopefully he will wake up." Aleta looked over Sil, he looked similar to Jasper when he had stumbled through the arrowheads toward his lands. Mud and blood covered, wounds decorating his entire boyce.
