Vivian's gait was furiously fast. Harks tilted back, teeth bared. He was angry and wasn't afraid to show it. A mare had escaped him, and that stallion will now face his wrath. Vivian wasn't about to knock and politely ask, no sir. His blood was boiling. There would be spilled blood whether the rival liked it or not.

Thayer heard him and wasted no time. The black stag thrushes forward using all his thoroughbred running power. He spotted his target on the angry brute. The jugular. Thayer was going in for the kill, right away. There was a name for what he felt right now. It is called blood thirst.

Vivian twisted his neck as his opponent lunged his jugular. Unfortunately, the other stallions teeth caught his shoulder. He rolled over, hoping to smash the stallion. Harks were pinned farther as the blood rushed. The bay brute stood up and reared. His hoof lunged for the other stallion's left eye.

Thayer squealed as Vivian lunged his Boyce at his eye. He quickly turned his head. The brute's rear was too fast. The front of his shoulder was struck, leaving a gash. Hot, sticky red blood streamed down his leg. The sight of blood set him off. He is a dark. Dark horses, no matter the gender, are fueled by blood. Blood thirst is something they are born with. As his prey recovered from lunging, Thayer, once again, threw his sharp teeth towards his prey's jugular. This would not end until Thayer got what he wanted. Enemy blood.

Vivian struck his hoof at the brutes faces as he lunged again, waiting to feel the sound of victory, but he was too ignorant. The other Dark stag was fueled on by the thirst of blood. He pulled his hoof away and could feel the other stallion's teeth rip a chunk from his shoulder. He could finally see the blood lust in his enemy's eyes. Vivian braced himself, preparing to head butt the stallion's chest. He then snapped up his head lunging for the other brutes throat.

Thayer tasted blood. The hotness. The stickiness. The sweetness. Just what he wanted! He felt the brute coming up. Thayer reared, kicking his knees into Vivians windpipe. That didn't come without a cost though. The stallion had scraped a long slice of skin away on his neck. Red blood gushing from a big vein. That ticked him off!

Vivian fell over from the force of the other brutes kick. He could feel the blood from the other stallion's neck on his hoof. The bay brute charged again, running with full force. At the last moment he jumped. He was planning to smash the other stallion into the ground. Harks were pinned, teeth bared. Vivian's temper was rising again. His hooves were aiming to smash into the stallion's ribs, yes this was the rush he loved. He knew Gold would be worried, but he didn't care at the moment, Empress was going to come back home!

Thayer chuckled at the speed of a horse of Vivian's breed. How foolish! Thayer stood stock-still while the stag lunged. The stallion flew forward at the last second, using his born talent. Thayer made a round-a-bout and charged at Vivian. He sidestepped. Thayer planned on using his rock-hard hooves full force into the stallion's ribs. This could make him. He could still taste the sweet of the blood. It fueled him. Made him faster than ever.

Vivian could feel the blood rushing. He watched as the stallion turned and charged. He landed neatly and side stepped in the opposite direction. He felt the anger rushing through him. Empress didn't belong with a Dark, period. The other stallion was fueled, but Vivian was prepared for his charge. The hooves of the other brute gashed his right flank, as he did so Vivian danced around and lunged to trip the other stallion. Poor Empress being stuck with this stallion. Pity over washed him, maybe this stallion needed mares. Vivian then shook his head. Darks couldn't care, didn't care about anyone. His teeth bared his lunged for the other stag's jugular.

Thayer felt his misstep. Stupid mistake! Stupid! Vivian! It doesn't matter who wins. Your mare carries my foal. She will be Dark. My Arialli will make sure! He tripped. Thayer turned his head and saw Vivian coming. The black stag quickly rolled over and stood. It couldn't get him away though, they collided in a tangle of legs, hooves, and boyces. Thayer thrashed around, kicking, biting, screaming. He got out. Thayer turned towards the brute on the ground. What a sad sight. The stallion reared and crashed down on top of Vivian's leg.

"No it does matter. I don't care if she carries your foal. She's light!" Vivian screamed at the other stallion. He had fought for Empress before and won. This stallion was not going to change he into one of them. He wheeled around as the stallion's hooves grazed his shoulder again. It opened the gashes again. Now this stallion went too far. Vivian was done being mister nice guy. Harks pinned her reared, but side stepped, hoping to trick the other stallion. He then lunged head on at the other stallion going so fast then what should've been possible. The other stallion had to meet his move, or face the blow, Vivian was going too fast for the stallion to dodge.

Thayer snarled at Vivian. He was King. He will prevail. Thayer came up and met his hooves. They were locked in a death match. Clashing hooves. Snapping teeth. Thayer used his longer neck to bite at Vivian's face, aiming at the nostrils and eyes. The stallion caught his nose and latched on tight. He hopes to suffocate him into fainting.

As the other stallion caught his head, he shook viciously. He felt the teeth fly out. He then lunged aiming for the other stallion's eyes. If he went half blind. Vivian would win. But again he was being dumb. The stallion would probably dodge, but Vivian was prepared for that. If the other stallion moved his hoof would fly out at his eye. This was now a death clash. This wasn't going to happen easily, but Vivian wouldn't let Empress down. She needed him now. Even though Empress wasn't his mate, didn't mean he didn't love her as one of his herd members. He had taken the oath to protect that mare, and he would do it, no matter what.

Thayer saw what the brute planned to do. The black stag used all his force to push Vivian off him. Thayer used his time to run over to the other end of the field to see exactly what had been inflicted onto Vivian. Thayer had done quite a number on him. He probably looked no different. Thayer stood there. They stared at each other. Not one of them would, or could, give up. They had a death stare going.
